This facility enables the unit holders to transfer their investments between Funds in response to different investment goals or market conditions. Unit holders who wish to switch funds must fill in the Transaction Form available at ASM INVESTMENT Head Office or branch office and to enclose the certificate of investment (if any). The switching form can also be obtained from our website.

The minimum units for switching are 100 units per transaction. The switching facilities can only be done subject to the availability of units of the intended (new) funds. There is no restriction on the frequency of switching. However, an administration fee of RM10.00 is charge on the fifth transaction during calendar year. EPF unit holders are not allowed to exercise partial switching between funds. Investors who switch from other funds to SMMF or vice versa are entitled up to five switches without charges.

The existing investment will be valued and redeemed at the NAV per unit. Then, the proceeds will be used to acquire units of the intended (new) fund based on its NAV per unit. Thus, the sales charge is waived. No commissions are paid to the agents for facilitating such transactions.
